NEW DELHI: Following feedback, AIIMS on Thursday shut a counter set down solely to encourage treatment for "VIPs" and the patients suggested by the Union wellbeing clergyman's office.
The move came after Union wellbeing priest J P Nadda communicated disappointment over the activity taken by the AIIMS organization, healing center sources said.
The staff relationship of AIIMS (FAIIMS) on Wednesday had denounced the move asserting it was a "bold endeavor" on some portion of the organization to "advance VIP culture" in the establishment's premises.
Boss clergyman Arvind Kejriwal assumed to Twitter to accuse the Modi legislature of working for just VIPs. "Modi govt works for just VIPs, AAP govt works for just aam admi," he had tweeted.
AIIMS had opened the restrictive counter to encourage the enrollment for treatment of patients suggested by the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Union wellbeing pastor and VIP references from individuals from parliament. Bulk whatsapp sms service provider
The employees guaranteed the practice was predominant even before and was being managed by the media and convention division, yet not in such an open way. At present, AIIMS witnesses a staggering footfall of around 11,000 patients over all OPDs day by day.
