Notice for Congress president survey will be issued on December 1. Last date to record the selection papers has been settled for December 4.
Voting will be led on December 16 and the outcomes for which will be proclaimed on December 19.
Rahul Gandhi is relied upon to be the main hopeful in the shred, the sources said.
The gathering has time till December 31 to finish the whole hierarchical race process and present the answer to the Election Commission.
The Congress had before set a due date to finish the authoritative decisions by October-end.
